Barry is developing a sales system with 17 people in his group, for a $20 million beverage firm. He told the firm the compensation package he wanted, and they gave it to him. He said he had five or six opportunities, which came from mailings and recruiter relationships he developed as a result of the campaign. He got positive feedback from several recruiters as far as the creative materials he was bringing to the table, especially the CEO Bio.

"Along with everything else, you provided me confidence," he said. He turned down two simultaneous offers from software and IT firms in Texas and Canada, because he wasn't sufficiently impressed with their managements or sense of urgency. That was when he decided to take the initiative with the beverage firm, which is in a business, he says, that is "recession-proof" because "people will always drink the stuff." Barry said he'd be happy to be a reference for SET.
